According to reporting from Variety, Matthew McConaughey has partnered with the AI-powered audio company ElevenLabs for a new translation and voice-cloning project using the company’s technology.
Matthew McConaughey hosts a podcast called “Lyrics of Livin’”. The actor intends to translate the program’s audio into Spanish through ElevenLabs’ artificial intelligence.
The actor praised the company’s work in a statement.

“From our first conversation, I was impressed by how the ElevenLabs team managed to take the magic of their core technology and turn it into products that creators, companies and storytellers use every day.”
In addition to revealing the partnership, Matthew McConaughey also stated that he is an investor in the company. He also said he has worked with ElevenLabs before.
“Now, thanks to ElevenLabs, ‘Lyrics of Livin’’ is expanding with a Spanish edition, allowing us to reach and connect with even more people,” celebrated the “Interstellar” star.
Besides McConaughey, Michael Caine has also sold his voice to ElevenLabs. Caine is now part of the Iconic Voice Marketplace project, in which actors and actresses sell their voices for cloning.
According to ElevenLabs, there are currently 28 celebrity voices available on the marketplace. McConaughey is not part of the Iconic Voice Marketplace.
